READY FOR FIRING

To return to my website: ingeborgkootpottery.com

My slip decorated pinched pots, and more hand-made pottery ready for firing.

Earthenware, I yet have to test as well as a host of other test tiles. Plates, spoons and other critters. Dying to see how they'll turn out. My shelves here are now filled.
Wondering how many will survive and make the move and the filling of a kiln.

We'll see, in the meantime, I am keeping it all small until we find a space to move into. We did put an offer in on a house we liked which disappointingly was rejected. Apart from setting up the Pottery, we are longing to set up a veg- patch. Here is hoping that our next best matching offer might be accepted so that a move may become reality at last.

The snow is now melting and it seems that Spring might be in the air. It will be a good Hiking weekend or perhaps good enough to bike too.

Blogger is giving problems all morning. I am going outside into the garden, which seems a better idea.

SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS

To go back to my Website: ingeborgkootpottery.com

Icy cold, wet snow and definitely not biking weather, we decided to go for a short hike up the mountains and look for new biking trails instead. Dogs with us, picture book perfect, and what a glorious day.

There... a jump hidden under the snow, somewhere...

and an other one....

The next MB trail

I just love these, they mean business

Somewhere out there is a plot of land for us all, I just know it!

Of course we found some new trails, but I'll be walking those instead, thank you very much. Apparently, this weekend.

We're still house hunting. Sigh ... and so my pottery will have to wait still longer. The kiln has been put off and on hold as well. Till then, I have turned to hand-work, ready to bisque fire. I'll post some pics next.

Our visitors are arriving in 10 days from now. Cant wait to hug them.
